Turning your project into a real product
Web development
Our main developers team specializes in design and implementation of Ruby-based applications, combined with other powerful JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and backbone.js working on the client-side.
If you want it to be on Rails, you can rely on our devoted developers.
Mobile development
We’re head-over-heels for Mobile, constantly boosting our skills in all the latest technologies available to humanity. We’ve crafted native apps for iOS and Android devices, as well as web interfaces using jQuery’s Mobile Framework.
The more challenging and unique your project is, the more enthusiastic we become.
Enterprise development
Whether yours is a startup business or an established one, we can help you and your business’ needs. We’ve worked on scalable enterprise architectures for recognized corporations, all based upon Open-Source technologies, among others.
We take serious businesses seriously.
Check out the technologies we’re working with
Ruby
Working with Ruby is enjoyable. We are able to focus on simplicity and productivity while our code remains elegant and easy to read.
For building Web apps, we prefer to use Ruby on Rails, and Sinatra to implement REST services and interact with third party systems.
Depending on the project, we provide exhaustive tests to cover all branches of our code, using RSpec or Test::Unit. We work with the metric_fu gem to take care of code best practices and code complexity.
We make deployments easy and secure by using Capistrano, and we are happy to adapt to our clients' infrastructures when needed.
Passenger and Unicorn are our prefered Ruby servers on production environments. Along with them, we use Apache and Nginx's power for caching and load balancing.
We understand PHP and have the expertise to port your application to Ruby on Rails. If you’re planning to migrate an old PHP web app to the Ruby world, we can help you do it “the Rails way”.
iOS
Put your app in the hands of millions of iPhone/iPad users. Our mobile developers are eager to code the iOS app of your dreams, made by truly Mac lovers.
Our coders developed a set of reusable components to make us focus on the application flow instead of hacking all the time.
Android
We have the developers you need for the most popular mobile platform. If you’re considering building a new app and making it available for the Android world, we can help you from start to end.
Do you want to see what we are capable of building? Try Zuki App for JIRA. We do not only focus on development, we think products as a whole.
Java and jRuby
Years of experience and strong knowledge of Java EE play a big part in the overall skills of our team. Our experts design, develop and maintain Java-based middleware solutions for corporate environments since the beginnings of the company.
Some people ask us: Why are you still working with Java?
We believe in the combination of skills and technologies to bring the best solution to customers. The key is to find the perfect intersection between different technologies.
We are working with JRuby in corporate environments and it's awesome.
Data Storage
Our team has experience working with several DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, DB2 and Oracle. When relational databases don't make the cut, we use different storage techniques like MongoDB —as part of the NoSQL family— and Redis for in-memory data store.
