CES – Uruguayan company reference on Software Testing trust in Moove-IT to develop their new Web Site. |
Moove-IT is in charge of the CES Web Portal implementation. This is the first phase of an ambitious project: the promotion and creation of a community of Testers around the world with the aim of sharing experience in Software Testing. In this first phase, the Site will work on the Joomla platform. This Tuesday was the official launch of the Online Education Platform, an event which was attended among others by Minister of Education and Culture, María Simon.
The platform is one of the most important milestones for the activities under the Project “National Campaign to Reduce the Human Resources Gap in IT”, and is the starting point in the training of young people, giving them access to quality jobs and allowing the IT industry in Uruguay continues to grow.

FaltaUno – Let’s play soccer! New championship feature |

FaltaUno launch a new important functionality: championship organization.
Players can now: see calendar matches, scores, make match commentaries, upload and view photos, videos and commentaries of other players.
This new functionality is actually used in two important local soccer championships.

Hacé Click - Web Site development & integration with Moodle Education Platform. |
We start the development of “Hace Click” web portal, an initiative of the Uruguayan Chamber of Software (CUTI) to promote among youth the benefits of joining the industry of Information Technology (IT). This initiative is part of its campaign to close the gap of IT in HR.
This project consisted in the design, installation, customization and implementation of the Web portal using the Joomla platform and their broad environment components.
The Virtual Education Platform (moodle) includes all the spaces of a traditional course: manage materials, discussion area, evaluations, communication between professors and students. This platform is also integrated with the WizIQ tool that makes possible the video conference to real time courses.

GetUnbored - Second phase of this amazing project |
We start the second phase of the social network Getunbored. The scope of this second stage is to develop new functionalities and make Look & Feel improvements.
Some new functionalities: personalized online calendar of events, possibility to share events, join events, look for activities (hour, location) and the possibility to mark events as favourites.
Another important feature is the integration of Facebook Connect, this feature allows the user log into Getunbored with a Facebook account without the creation of any particular account.

We are in charge of the development of the Web Site of Skaphia Lab. The offered solution was the implementation of Joomla (CMS platform), creating an original graphic design with the integration of custom modules.  We started the development of Murillo Ruffinelli Moreira Web Site, customs brokers with more than 45 years in the business. Moove-IT is in charge of the design, installation and adaptation of the Web Site and the Moodle Online Education Platform of Universidad del Teletrabajo, a new ambitious project of Netgate Telecommunications to promote teleworking in Latin America.
This project is based in Joomla and Moodle Open Source platforms.
We attend to the conference “Locos por Rails” in Buenos Aires
The conference “Locos por Rails 2009” was in the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. There were presentations of local and international referents: Obie Fernandez, Yehuda Katz, David Heinemeier Hansson (teleconference), Luis Lavena, Fabio Akita among others. It was an excellent experience!

OpenUY’08
Official launch of OpenUY 2008, the annual event of the Java Users Group of Uruguay (Juguy).
Its a free technical event organized and supported by Juguy and UyLUG. Its a unique event in Uruguay and the region which aims to promote the different open source strategies for creation and administration of software systems with focus in Java and Java EE solutions with Linux infrastructure.
